This artwork was created by female teens who are enrolled in the Juvenile Court and Community School: S.A.F.E Girl’s Hybrid Program in San Diego CA. The artwork is permanently installed inside the Youth Transition Campus in Kearny Mesa, San Diego.

This 3’6” x 7’ painting was created by incarcerated teens inside the Youth Transition Campus facility. They chose to focus on the two pivotal Mexican singers to celebrate their lives and music.

This collection of art, two photos and two large paintings, was created by youth in the Combat Arts program. The artwork is permanently displayed inside the Youth Transition Campus reception area.

This painting was originally begun, before the COVID- 19 pandemic hit, by 4 teen girls who were incarcerated inside the Girls Rehabilitation Facility. The painting was later finished by a group of young women who receive services from the Juvenile Court and Community Schools S.A.F.E. program. Two of the original artists took their lives before this painting was completed. We dedicate “Transformation” to them.

Each banner represents a word that reflects on what the student artist feels is the most important to them. All of the banners in this program are, and will be, installed inside the Youth Transition Campus in Kearny Mesa, San Diego.
